Everything To Know About the New Google AI Landing Page Patent

Google has been granted a patent for an AI-generated landing page system that would dynamically create and display custom web pages tailored to individual user queries, potentially replacing a brand's original landing page if it fails to meet specific quality thresholds.

This system evaluates existing pages based on signals like conversion rates, bounce rates, and design quality; if the score is insufficient, Google generates a new, real-time page using the organization’s data to better match user intent.

While initially raising concerns about loss of brand control and potential misrepresentation, analysis suggests the patent is primarily tailored to paid advertising and Shopping results rather than organic search, aiming to improve engagement for e-commerce experiences where original pages may lack clear filters or navigation.

Currently, this is a theoretical capability protected by patent law, and Google has not publicly implemented or announced a live rollout of this feature for general search results.
